Preview Version 2.02

We'll release version 2.02 between the 14.4-18.4.08, we will enter the testing phase next week and hope to bring this version to you as soon as possible. We are also working on the version 3.0 that will contain many new features, including a m compiler!

What will be new in version 2.02:

  • Several Buxfixe.
  • No more activation required, optional registration.
  • Minor functional enhancements (e.g. editor, gettings scripts from inbox).
  • 3rd ed SIS suitable for Open Signing.

Hi donatas,
We are already working on the version 3.0 and will release it asap its hard to make accurate estimations because of the unforeseen troubles with Symbian, but it wont be long!

open signed?!No pl no! We wil not b able to use any comm or multimedia capability We can not do even program what we can do now ! It wil become regressive ! Are u planning to release the ver as development ver?oops no do not do that

Luke, what's about that Open Signing? Will it have the constrants mentioned by sel5500?

It will be the same as before, but additionally you'll be able to open sign it to have the location capability or others that are not included in the Self Signed version.

That's good news Luke but can u clarify whether dev cert wil be needed to sign for location capabilities? my understanding til date was that there wil b comm db full file location restrictions !

Forget it Luke,Though I haven't ome across any cert except dev cert that wil allow locationid,I wil wait till next week and hope Iam absolutely wrong!

Thanks luke!!!I searched the symbiansigned.com site. To b frank, I didn;t know location capability comes under opensigned.Till date. Iam sorry for cribbing on this forum and even more sorry that I wnated to wring the symbian guys neck for total restrcitions!

Off the track- the '.do' extension of symbiansigned is really odd. I haven't come across a '.do' site
